Legal Office has conformed with COVID-19 awareness and prevention by providing hand sanitizers for the visitors and staff, practicing social distancing in the office, wearing masks, encouraging staff to get the covid-19 vaccine and undertaking online review and dispatch of documents to University members of staff .
It has also reviewed and facilitated Collaborative Agreements from various Departments and Units within the University, which are aimed at carrying out research on COVID-19.
The Legal Office also defended the University successfully in a case filed against online learning, which allowed the University to roll out online teaching and learning in response to COVID-19 prevention.
